Debtor Accounts

A Debtor account is much the same as a Bank account, except that it is used to record money owed to you.

You should use the statement facilities to reconcile payments made by debtors and the money the owe. This will help you show clearly the amount you are owed when you need to ask to be paid.

If you click on the Debtors tab in the Account Names List you will see a concise summary of how much you are owed and how long it has been outstanding.
