How VAT / Sales Tax entries are shown

All of the automatically calculated tax debits and credits for each month are shown as a separate summary item in the respective Tax Collection accounts.

 

Any manually posted tax amounts will be shown individually and not accumulated with the automatically calculated items.

 

The reason for showing summarised monthly totals is to avoid an account display with possibly hundreds of detail entries.

 

If you need a detailed list of all tax items for each tax rate, click the VATReport button in the main toolbar to display all your VAT / Sales Tax transactions.
