MoneyBox will always try to retrieve the previous year's accounts in addition to the year you have requested.
This not only lets you make on the spot references to last year's figures, but also allows the system to use those figures when helping you with your budget and cashflow planning.
You can set up a budget for any or all of your Income and Expenditure accounts at any level ie Category, Summary or Detail.
If you click the Budget button when reviewing a Bank, Charge, Customer or Supplier account, you will get cashflow facilities in place of budget facilities.
The budget facility will let you set and monitor income or expenditure targets. The cashflow facilities will help you control your bank balance and your payments to suppliers.
In both cases you can see how you are doing graphically.
