This facility lets you search for information across the whole or part of the account set currently being accessed.
You can specify a combination of words or phrases optionally separated by and or or. The and operator will result in a hit when both words or phrases are present in the description or amount fields of an item. The or operator will result in a hit when either of the words or phrases are present in the description or amount fields of an item.
You can specify a combination of words, phrases or account numbers optionally separated by and or or. The and operator will result in a hit when both words, phrases or account numbers are present in the account number or description associated with the debit and credit references of an item. The or operator will result in a hit when both words, phrases or account numbers are present in the account number or description associated with the debit and credit references of an item.
You can select any combination of years between the earliest and the latest year of the current account set.
Clicking on this button, or hitting Enter, will initiate the search.
If you enter a search argument that results in a large number of hits, the display of the hits is divided into pages. Each page can be displayed by clicking the resulting tabs. You can change the number of tabs by changing the page size and then clicking the Go button.
The hits are displayed in normal journal entry format. You can click the column headings to change the sort order. You can use the search 
and 
and filter buttons to refine your display.
