Account Structure

An account is a set of transactions in and out.

Each item in an account consists of a date, a description, an amount in or out.

This is what you enter into the system every time you add a new item.

The system makes an assumption as to which account this new item "Goes to" or "Comes from". You can of course change this simplistic assumption.

If you display the details of an account, you will see a list of all the items entered. You can highlight any of these items to change or delete them.

If you add a new item while an existing item is highlighted, all the input values are set to that of the highlighted item. This can save a lot of unnecessary typing.

If you are intending to use MoneyBox at the Personal level, I suggest you now go back and read the section on Bank Accounts. Otherwise, you should browse >> forward.
